UV INDOOR TANNING

AVOID OVEREXPOSURE. As with natural sunlight, overexposure can cause eye and skin injury and allergic reactions. Repeated Overexposure may cause photo aging of the skin, dryness, wrinkling and in some instances skin cancer. We recommend that you do not tan outdoors on days you are tanning indoors, that you do not tan if you currently have a sunburn and that you, at most, tan only once in a 24-hour period.

CERTAIN MEDICATIONS, Lotions and other Products may cause your skin to be more sensitive to UV Rays. Check with your physician or pharmacist if you are unsure about any medications, you are taking or if you have had a problem with indoor or outdoor tanning in the past. 
 

WEAR PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR. Failure to wear protective eyewear may result in severe burns or long-term injury to injuries to the eyes. 

 

SUNLESS  TANNING

DHA is listed in the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) as a color additive for use in imparting color to the human body. However its use in cosmetics - including sunless “tanning” products - is restricted to external application. According to CFR, “externally applied” cosmetics are those “applied only to external parts of the body and not to the lips or any body surface covered by mucous membrane. 
 

• All the ingredients in the product used in this procedure are intended for cosmetic use and generally regarded as safe. There are, however, occasions where individuals may be allergic to one or more ingredients in the spray tan solution. If this occurs, shower and discontinue use. If severe reaction, contact a physician. You may ask to see the ingredients prior to application.

The FDA recommends that you take the following measures to protect against ingestion or inhalation during your sunless session by using: 

• Protective eyewear  
• Nose filters  
• Sealing lips with lip balm  
• Protective undergarments

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP BILLING TERMS 

​

  1. Sun Kissed Tanning monthly memberships are non-refundable and can NOT be shared.

  2. All Fees are paid in advance and due every month on the date listed above.

  3. All fees will be debited without notice as if card were present.

  4. DECLINED PAYMENT: Any declined payments on date listed above will result in a membership suspension and re attempts will be made every 1st , 10th and 20th of the month until payment is collected. 

  5. In the event payment is declined and received on a different billing date, the next monthly payment date will not change from date listed above.

  6. If we are unsuccessful at collecting the declined payment within 60 days, your membership will be cancelled without an option to reinstatement.

  7. FREEZING YOUR MEMBERSHIP: Memberships may be frozen upon request for a minimum of 1 month/  Flat fee of $20 will be charged upon request.

  8. CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP: A minimum of 3 full payments, not including today’s payment must be made before you are eligible for contract cancellation. All cancellation letters must be received at least 10 days before your scheduled billing date, otherwise one final debit will be made.
     

  9. The authority is to remain in effect until Sun Kissed Tanning receives a written and signed cancellation notice. Charges will be ran as if card is present.
     

  10. Sun Kissed Tanning reserves the right to cancel my membership at any time.
     

  11. Sun Kissed Tanning reserves the right to assign this authorization without notice.

SESSIONS/ PACKAGES PURCHASE TERMS

By purchasing services from us you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
 

1.Purchased Sessions are non-refundable and expiry within 1 year of purchase.

2.Purchased Sessions are taxed 10% Federal UVT Tax.

3.All UV sessions are subject to a 24 Hour wait period between sessions based on FH Requirement.

4.Any unused sessions after 12 months are considered void.

AIRBRUSH SPRAY TAN TERMS

MISSED APPOINTMENTS 

  1. Airbrush appointments can not be cancelled or changed within 24 Hrs of the appointment tim

  2. If you are unable to attend your appointment and no noticed was provided prior to the 24 Rule, this will be considered a no show and a $30 Cancellation Fee will be charged to your card provided to Boosky.

  3. All appointments / changes and cancellations are managed by the customer directly through the Boosky.

 

***Please ensure to be on time for airbrush appointment, there is a 15min grace period meaning that if you do not show up for 15min after your scheduled appointment, it will be considered a No Show and will be subject to a cancellation fee.***

 

MALE CLIENTS

Must wear some type of undergarment and are prohibited to tan nude.

 

SEXUAL HARRASMENT

To ensure the safety of our staff, there is NO tolerance for any sort of sexual harassment.

Reports of ANY sexual harassment will result in loss of all remaining sessions, ban on future purchases and possible report to the authorities. Some examples of sexual harassment;

 

  • Offensive and unwelcome sexual invitations

  • Offensive and unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature

  • Offensive and unwelcome physical contact of a sexual nature, including the touching of another’s body; the touching or display of one’s own body

REWARDS POINTS 

  1. Anyone making a physical purchase at SKT Salon is automatically granted the rewards points.
 

  2. The Reward Points are equal to 5% of the total purchase and are added automatically to your SKT account.
 

  3. Rewards Points can be redeemed towards any purchase $20 or higher.
 

  4. All Rewards Points are voided on any account that has not been active within 12 months.
 

  5. Rewards Points can not exceed the Purchase price.
 

  6. Monthly memberships do not qualify for the Rewards Program.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE, FROM TIME TO TIME IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION. WE WILL NOTIFY YOU OF AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BY POSTING THEM TO THIS WEBSITE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT MAKE THE PURCHASE.
